How do I schedule an appointment?
Please fill out the contact form. I will reach out within 48 hours from submission. This call will allow us to get to know each other and see if we are a good fit.
Do you offer virtual or in-person sessions?
I currently offer virtual sessions for residents in California.
What is the cancellation policy?
Rescheduling and cancellations can be made 24 hours prior to your appointment. Any rescheduling or cancellation within 24 hours will be charged the full amount.
Do you accept insurance?
Insurance comes with limits that – although unintended – do affect care. Having to navigate limited sessions, privacy concerns, and administrative hurdles can be frustrating when seeking mental health treatment. I do not accept insurance due to these reasons in order to eliminate external barriers and be able to just focus on providing client-centered care.
What does my first session look like?
During our initial session, we will delve into the reasons that have led you to seek therapy, conduct a comprehensive assessment, and engage in a conversation regarding your expectations and objectives for the course of treatment. This is the ensure that we are on the same page moving forward.
Good Faith of Estimate
Starting from January 1, 2022, healthcare providers are required by law, through the enactment of the No Surprises Act, to give uninsured or self-pay clients a Good Faith Estimate of costs for services being offered when scheduling an appointment or when clients request an estimate.
In compliance with the No Surprises Act, I will provide you with an estimate of expected costs of our services following the initial evaluation, prior to starting psychotherapy so you will get a sense of what your medical budget will be. In accordance with the No Surprises Act, you can dispute a medical bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate.
For further information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
