The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking
Albert einstein
In our individual therapy sessions, it is important to me to create a safe space for you to be yourself. I want to know the thoughts you think and the feelings that you feel. My goal is to establish a trust between both of us for you to be freely vulnerable in session.
Together, we will explore your goals and your fears that impact your current situation. We will learn different ways of coping with wounds and hurts from the past that have become patterns in the present. We will reflect on and build upon your own strengths that have helped you through and also learn new ways of coping to increase more confidence and competence. We will build upon your insight and awareness for the change that you are seeking.
I recognize it is a big ask to trust someone with such vulnerability. In working with me, I promise to meet you exactly where you are at and be your biggest cheerleader along the way. I will challenge you and I will support you. I will want the best for you and I will fully believe that you are the one that knows what is going to be the best for you.
